Nice updates, though I'm not sure you needed more horsepowers . Sorry I couldn't help further with diagnosis on the ABS light, hopefully I'll see you on Sunday too.
Thanks guys! Looking forward to meeting you both yeh I definitely need seat time mainly but I'm sure the extra go will help a bit down the straight, I'm hoping I'll be able to get in more laps without having to let faster cars through as often. Don't stress about the abs man, your help was much appreciated as we had no idea where to even start! Lol hopefully I can get it sorted sooner or later, but I think not having abs helped me learn breaking points of the track better anyway! Lol
I went down to MSC performance in Melbourne on Friday for Benson to tune the car, I was really itching to get down there as I've been waiting to do it for ages!
The only other person getting their car tuned was Symphorced and his madly stanced EP3 :P love the fitment on that car! also got to see Steve's S200 which he told us has had about 620 dyno runs! :O another good example of the reliable Honda motors! the size of the snail on that thing is unreal too, it's bigger than my head I reckon! Lol :P
Anyway back on topic, after the tune at first I was a little disappointed at the power figure. The car only came back with 130.2kw atw. Not really what I was expecting considering I have seen cars make over 140kws with less modifications. I talked to Benny about it and he said not to worry about dyno figures as they vary quite substantially between different dynos depending on certain variables, I already knew this but still felt a little disappointed about it.
I quickly got over that once I drive the car though!!!! Haha the mid range improvement is awesome, second and third gears pull really well and I'm hoping that will help to improve my exit speed onto the straights at Winton. The only issue that came up was to do with the S90 throttle body, the car rev hunts on idle anywhere from 1000rpm to 2000rpm and Benny has offered to send down a new unit to swap it over with, hopefully that sorts it out. I have to say I was very happy with his service, he is a great bloke and very proffesional and it's good to have people like that in the car community as there are too many dodgy people in this game!
Any way here are a couple of pics of the car on the dyno and the print out.
Hopefully the rain stays away tomorrow and we have a good day!
130.2kw does sound low for the list of mods you have, not wrong on that one boss but then again im no expert at the dyno tuning lol
Good to hear there's a BIG difference in driving the car though...
Can't wait to hear your results from Winton mate.

Yeh, I guess I'm just glad there was a big enough improvement to justify the cost! Lol about to go out for my first session, can't wait!
How long did the tune take? I couldn't make the Friday and too many people pulled out for the Saturday to be viable =P
Took about 1 to 1.5 hours per car i'd say, can't remember exactly though. That sucks man, Benson say he'll be doing another one in a couple of months anyway, so maybe you could go to that one

Okay... Fair enough.
How'd you go with Winton?
New PB?
Thanks for the comments guys, had an awesome day at Winton today. The rain stayed away, and after the first few sessions the track got some rubber on it and was quite good to drive on. As the day went on I gradually got more and more confident with the car and managed to lower my fastest time to a 1:43.47 which I was ecstatic with. My day was cut short after I hit the brakes over some water someone had dragged into the track and gracefully slid off into the mud lol so I called it a day, thankfully there is nothing wrong with the car. I am now starting to learn the limits of my car which will help me to choose the right upgrades to help me go faster. The tune definitely helped a lot and I am loving the car at the moment! I'm going to enter the next EXE day and hopefully I get in as I've been told that they are a much better event with less idiots blocking you on the track! Was also good to meet some more of the clubitr crew, really great bunch of blokes
Next up for me will probably be a complete service with all fluids replaced. Then I'm going to look into some bracing and sway bars. Not sure what I'll use yet but I'll figure it out!
Thanks for reading!
Here's a couple of iPhone pics of the mud mobile, the front lip will now be known as the shovel! Lol
