The ecu.. remember u have a type s ecu. I needed to make sure i followed the right one when installing my defis... took a few goes to get my rpm going too lol
Yeh true, what's confusing me is the type r conversion harness for the k pro though. You don't happen to remember where you tapped into the rpm signal?

Hey Ryan,
Just took our my 05-6 harness adaptor.... Now looking at it. You will see 3 cut outs, 2 of the left, one on the right.
Referring to this link here;
http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=230
Looking at the pin, its number 25 (FARR RIGHT AHND SIDE)... and on the link above it states for VSSOUT vehcicle speed snesor output signal.
The link above gives you the k20a2 (type r) printout
Looking at that, teh two elads on the left are for POWEr and GROUND. Looking at the one on the right, it connects up to.
Where the pen is pointing is the lead to cut
I then turned the harness upsid down so the writing is facing downards... NOTE: this end os the side that plugs into Type R ECU
anotehr pic to show where the lead ends up. note: this end plugs into your factory loom.
THis should get u up and running to read RPM from the lap timer. Mindful i dont think you can read speed correctly on it as I coudlntw ith my defi setup as 05-06 runs a different speed sensor?

Speeds ok because the lap timer does it via GPS so no need to tap into that

Well took the DC5 to have the PCI bushes pressed in today along with a couple of other bits. Turns out the "indicator arrow" that basically shows you which way to install the bushes was pointing in the wrong direction for the front spherical bush, and so it has been put in backwards, leaving the car with a measly 1.6 degrees of caster!!!!! so will have to take it back next week and get it swapped around. I hate it when things like this happen, so very annoying!!!
