awesome build mate, i'm really enjoying your updates,
i've done a bit of pipe bending in my time so i can appreciate the job you've done on that cage, it looks great and must be rewarding being able to do work like that on your own car,
just wish i had the balls to go all out on mine like you have,
    keep up the good work

APR wing sits nice on DC5R. Glad you took our advice on wing choice. Are you reusing your OEM bolt holes? Or new ones has to be drilled?

Thanks very happy with it we would have had to drill holes either way because I have a Type S but even if someone wanted to put this on their Type R they would have to drill new holes as the APR mounts don't line up with the mounting points for a stock Type R wing and also there are 3 screws on each side instead of 2

Will the factory dc5r wing cover the holes if the car was return factory? Just curious for future dc5r owners out there.

As I don't have a Type R wing here to check I'm not sure, I would need to know the width of the base of the wing. But I can tell you that the APR wing mounts will cover the Stock Type R mounting 'holes' by about 3mm if someone want to put one on their Type R but doesn't want holes showing on their boot.

Is that the universal APR wing or the DC5 specific wing? What brackets are you using? Car is coming along very nicely!

APR don't make a wing for the DC5 only the S2000 but you can give them your boot size and the will make it to fit.

Just got the car loaded on the trailer. It has been a long day, haven't stopped since 9am lol still a few things to adjust when we get to Winton but everything is pretty much ready to go. To the guys that are heading over see you there, hopefully the weather stays away! Fingers crossed!

They actually do make a DC5 specific application but the mounts are different and are made for the factory spoiler holes.

So you just sent in dimensions then. What size wing did you get?
