Thanks dudes!
yeah i havent seen no one run these in Aus besides some 86's so should be good! So far quality looks amazing! The pads are not accessible unless calipers is completely removed to increase strength in caliper and reduce flex. Will post more photos soon
So in preparation for tomorrows Circuitclub track today this week I upgraded the front and rear brakes.
Also to prepare for the track day a fresh oil & oil filter change was performed and also a change of the drive belt,
my brother made a tool also to easily access the valve clearance adjusters and we also adjusted these to some
tighter specs.
So we have now
Front:
Buddy Club BBK
4 Pot caliper
330mm 1 piece 28mm thick rotor (eventually a custom made 2 piece rotor)
Buddy Club street & track pad
Braided Lines
Rear:
DBA T3 wiper slot rotors
Winmax W2 (street and track) pads
Standard lines - unfortunately ran out of time to get some braided lines in time.
Flushed the system with AP Racing 5.1 brake fluid. Have been using this for awhile and couldn't be happier.
Custom made tool to easily adjust the valve clearances with tightening the 10mm nut and placing a flat screwdriver through the centre.
This means more accurate valve clearances and a lot of time saving!
Fresh flush
Rear brakes
Front brakes
So here is how it stands ready for tomorrow's track day. Aiming for the 1:10s but just want to enjoy the day, have fun and stay safe!
