Second track day in this car has come & gone.
Was a great day thanks to Circuit Club and I'm happy to report that I've beaten my P.B by 1.7 seconds bringing me to a time of 1:10.1
Watching over the incar footage there is definitely some more room for improvement, not being the cleanest lap I think a 1:09 is not too far away!
Congrats on the PB mate, quick stuff. How did the BBK feel in comparison to the stock brakes?
Thanks dude! Stopping power felt much better, not head smashing, window shattering, balls sinking stopping but definately better over OEM. I had no brake fade during the day and pedal feel remained the same from start to finish! ABS still works nicely but I seemed to hit ABS less on these than on stock! So far, so good!
Hey Phil, what products do you recommend for cleaning the soft top? (i.e. wash and seal)
Hey Andrew mainly i use just my car was (meguiars nxt gen) to wash the roof as my top doesn't see much sun or dirt. For any stubborn stains or to keep it fresh hit it with this when needed
Had an offer come up on the Aus S2K Group on Facebook which I quickly jumped on which included a swap of my AP1 Centre console for an AP2. YESSS!!
So some interior shots now, Happy now with the AP2 Centre console with red stitch boot, Skunk2 gear knob and the mixture of black and red interior.
Saturday 9th August,
Last minute decision to attend a Motorkhana Day at Eastern Creek hosted by the Porsche Club of NSW.
Was a great day and absolutely loved the wet skidpan. Unfortunately I didn't turn on my GOPRO for a couple of the runs
which I went completely crazy and didn't care about the time DAMN!
Minor update haven't done much to it. Just a few small things to complete which I did on friday.
Braided Clutch line installed
Almost forgot after my track day that I still never did rear braided lines so once my brother and I finished doing some brake
upgrades at Race Brakes Sydney, I got Matt over there to make me up some rear braided lines to finish off the brake package finally.
Might hit up a track day next month maybe see how we go!
S90 70mm throttle body to match the bored out 70mm manifold.
Engine bay really needs a supercharge to fill in the gap haha! Eventually
Also placed on order a Ballade Sports timing chain tensioner, S2000's are known for their weak TCT's and as they wear they start to tick and rattle, OEM TCT coupled with my larger cams has sent mine ticking away so a stronger, better and life time guaranteed TCT is on the way. http://www.balladesports.com/product...hain-tensioner
A Haltech will also be on the way soon, not sure if I'm going to purchase this before or after Christmas due to rego being soon but none the less will be tuned soon I hope!
