Alrighty.....this is what has happened since my last update....leggoo!
I got new plates 02 - ITR, if you see me around be sure to give me a wave, beep, thumbs up haha here they are :
I also got around to doing my cars 110k kms service, i don't have any pics but the following were done:
- New ngk iridium spark plugs
- Nulon 5w-40 synthetic oil
- OEM honda oil filter
- OEM honda fuel filter
I changed my fuel filter as the log book recommends it to be done every 80-100k kms so here is how it looks compared to the old one:
The old one wasn't blocked but did seem dirty inside as i could see some residue. I DIY'ed this using a guide on itr-dc5.com in the UK!
Next up, i was on the hunt for an exhaust. I looked high and low, continent by continent, city by city and then i landed on Etherealfall's for sale thread. I saw he had a fujitsubo powergetter exhaust for sale and after watching Phillip's (flippit) vids on youtube and facebook i was convinced that this is the exhaust i wanted. Three days later it was in my garage:
That same night Shakeel and danny came over and helped me put it on. My old stock exhaust had an aftermarket muffler welded on it, so it had to be angle grinded off (thanks shak). I don't have any pics of the install but its a gun exhaust and I'm in love with it. There's a decent photo above showing how it sits.
And now the most important update of all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The carbon fibre wrapping needed to be removed as i was getting over it and i wanted that nice Arctic blue colour back as i missed it. So the car went from looking like this:
To how it looked like underneath the cf wrap, painted matte black in the middle section of the bonnet and the top part of the spoiler:
I ended up getting the front bar, bonnet, roof and spoiler resprayed and this is how it currently looks:
So this is how she sits at the moment. My future plans with this car are to repaint the DC5S stock rims to either matte or gloss black with a red H in the middle, eventually purchase a set of RPF1's and get this beast tuned.
Till next time.......Last edited by itr5093; 05-05-13, 02:40 PM.

Nice updates Fahad. Chopping the muffler off whilst underneath the car was no easy feat. Lucky we had the correct PPE (fake gucci sunglasses)
Some window visors will do nicelyLast edited by Shakeel; 05-05-13, 06:14 PM.

One thing to note though is that the fog light button will stuff up, i know this because ive been through 2 buttons. The best thing to do is to wire up your own button, like for example I got an electrician friend to wire up a standard light switch to the foglight harness. Or you can buy a switch from jaycar i think?
