Actually on my way home. The 4 of us called it an early one. I had my first experimece and I'm already dying to go back! We've left early cause my missus an my mates missus were getting bored and I didn't wanna be selfish.
Anyway back on to the day!
Great experience, track was pretty flat out though with at least 70-90 cars at the fun day probably due to the fact it's costs $35 per car and $35 for a passenger very cheap! Was run pretty okay, huge range of cars!!! Only 2 hondas there, myself and a EG Civic. Had a fun great runs with an evo behind me, I've always wondered what this obsession was about evos vs hondas and now I know what you guys mean!
The car handled way past my own expectation, I didn't know the DC5 could handle the way it did! It was great as I was just putting it into corners and took then with ease! Misjudged the same corner (u bend) twice and hit the ripple strip once but that's it! The fastest I hit down the straight was 165km/h but that's nothing as I really wanna set a time then try beat that the next time I hot the track.
The car was actually really really tight, I've got a slight headache now from the helmet but overall fantastic day was an absolute blast!
Can't wait for my next day, hopefully with some of the ITR boys
