http://www.ingallseng.com/ is where i bought my front camber bolts. Also in regards to rear camber arms, i bought hardrace. Served me fine so far with no issues and havent heard of any failures yet.
Thanks for that Norm,
Small little update, went to see Gavin from LOWDOWN Guard Rolling, got my rear guards done for $150, no chips, no buckles and no cracks.
Very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone who'd like to go see him. Took him around 2 hours but well worth the wait.
To those who think he still does a mobile service, this is not true anymore.
If you want his details i'd be more then happy to pass it to you.
Well to be honest, for the quality of his work, im very happy with it to be honest.
He's very upfront, very honest and doesn't talk shit as he went over his work with me in detail.
He showed what you need to becarful as the guards can pull and leave your guards all rooted instead of looking straight but my guards are pretty spot on so im really happy.
I went and had a mate look over it and he said he did a good job and for the price it's a very good job so im happy.
I don't mind paying top dollar provided the results show for it!
Had a lovely day at Winton attending Tampered Motor Sport, definitely a 8/10 day, bloody hot though that's for sure!
Not very happy with my PB of 1.52 as i wanted to get into the 1.40's but for my second time out i guess it wasn't to bad...
Definitely need to work on my lines, shifting and braking a lot more as i did have a number of spin outs today, 3 of them in the 'S' bend, one due to a official being stupid but that's a different story.
Alot of things i've taken away from today so I'll be looking forward to going out again but i don't think I'll be going to another event till i receive my new wing. Car handles great, i pushed it way beyond it's limits and this explains the numerous spin outs but thankfully there was no damage to the car and in my last 2 sessions i actually had some decent runs with no incidents. So after taking in some pointers from others, adjusting my lines and entering speeds i had no incidents in the last two sessions thankfully.
I definitely could probably use a better Tyre then what im using now but it'll be something I'll look for in the future not now as the RE001's still have plenty of tread. Anyway, will be starting to purchase all my goodies from probably tomorrow so watch this closely.
Good to hear that you had an awesome day man. It was awesome besides the fact it was crazy hot. 35 degrees!
Hey bud, 1:52 is not bad of a time considering its your first timed event. And plus it was hot as hell so it was really tough on the cars and on us! Especially the tyres. I have never tracked it on heat like this and it was absolutely nuts. But still had a blast.
And a new wing would be awesome too, to keep your cars rear end a bit more stable! Im sure the next time you go you'll get into the 1:40's easy.
In a small update.
Got my Rear Carbing Tie Bar.
Installed that, very easy, recommended 2 people if doing at home without a hoist, my dad gave me a hand but pretty straight forward. Haven't gone for a spirited drive to tell you if it's made a big difference but for the price i got it for from the states, there was no reason to purchase it!
My budget has also just allowed me to purchase another set of wheels....
Oh yes, these wheels will be track wheels, will be using semi's or trying another street tyre first... on these as i thought the RE001 were a great tyre on track but i don't think they can actually take the punishment from track work...
So RE001 for daily driving
At the moment, as im getting paid all my overtime over a few weeks im on track for the parts i wanted my mid year just with a extra goodies as they come!

if you want a cheap set of street/track wheels check out Hankook RS3
Funny thing is the bar stands out so much on the the LCA's LOL...
A guy behind me goes "wtf is that white thing on the back of your car"
Just lold'd... Gave the bottom of the car abit of a clean with some degreaser and hosing it but i think she needs a good pressure wash underneath so ill try another day again sometime...
Last bar i need for the rear end is the Cusco 25mm bar but might opt for Mugen but will go by what's cheaper possibly..
Also, by the way, installation takes approximately 30mins possibly more as if you have a tech gun it can be done quickly... Reason i say this is the LCA Bolts aren't all-threaded, some as you undo them you need to put force behind the bolt (this is a drainer part). This is where a tech gun with socket adapter is great as i used an extension bar (small one) to place pressure behind the LCA Bolts to draw it out.
Undo one bolt, Place the Tie Bar on, Bolt it up through the LCA (You will need another person or you will struggle as the LCA will drop after you undo the bolts and to push it and hold in place while trying to bolt is a nightmare!! Don't try using a jack only as i tried this... I used a jack to keep it level to the hole while my dad pushed it into guidance for me)
Bolt it up enuff that it connects the LCA to the Tie Bar but not FULLY tight, undo the other side, repeat your steps of undoing it, same process to bolt it up... Once the Tie Bar is on, screw it in with your gun as tight as possible then hand tighten (can't stress this enough!)
If your doing this completely by hand, have fun lol... Seriously, it does your balls in... I just cracked them by hand then whipped em off by gun =)
Hope this helps out whoever wishes to install theres but don't take this as a complete guide as it's just a rough one!
