Civic Type R to hit Australian Shores...

Just got an email from Honda
"Honda announces 2007 Civic Type R

Honda Europe has announced the eagerly awaited new Civic Type R. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0 litre DOHC i-VTEC engine, producing an exhilarating 150 kW @ 8,000 rpm. 0-100 km/h times are expected to be around the 6.6 second mark with a 235 km/h top speed."

Honda Australia have the Civic Type R firmly on their wishlist and are frantically working on a business case to bring it here."

"There is a new i-VTEC indicator just to the right of the digital speedometer which is illuminated within this rev range." <-- uh oh's... hahaha

      I call BS ... Apologies.

Honda AU should just bring SAT-NAV to all available line-up cars instead. That'd be more realistic.

"Unfortunately for Australian lovers of the Civic, the hatch model is not sold in this country due to the vehicle's higher costs, and so the chances of the Type R Civic heading Down Under are little to none at this stage."

                          Should Honda sell the
                          Civic Type R in Australia?
If so, what is a reasonable and realistic price?

                          $30,000 - $35,000

                          $35,000 - $40,000

                          $40,000 - $45,000
