yes that is my point exactly! evo will hammer, destroy, annihilate, [put ur own words here] DC5R/2R!! and honda producing crappy FF NA cars will NEVER in stock/aftermarket/potential form compete with evo EVER!

if Honda wants to producing something to compete with it, they will need to produce a 5lt V10 heavy hunk of crap, that no one will buy, and so they "may" (as i am speculating) be concentrating on a different market, small/luxury/spacious car.

p.s. I was comparing evo to contrast the world of difference that they have.. cuz i needed a 2lt engine with an overall package, and i'm not a huge fan of the EJ20, and it offers virtually nothing as a package even in STi form (no offense to ne wrx drivers out there ) and also kinda sorta agree to use an evo as a benchmark was not the best idea... =P

you miss the point.. itr is about "driving enjoyment" as goldcoastDC5R has so eloquently said already. Evo is about going as fast as possible. throw it at a corner and let the electronics take over.. where is the driver input, reward and feedback?

and honda is not a mere dot in the motor indusry. it may not be one of the big boys in $ terms but its the biggest engine manufacturer on the planet.
