The longer it sits in primer the better anyway, that's what i've been told by most panel beaters anyway as if you hit it right away with paint you will lose the chance to see any 'deformities' in the work so the longer it's in primer the less likely you'll have hassles.
Keep it up Norm, can't wait to see the wheels.
Yeh your right on the money with that one mate. The longer in primer, the better the paint job will turn out. The wheels are gonna look good. I can't wait!

Fittment is so weak, the guards cast a shadow over your rims... lol

Can't wait to see rim specs!!

Went for a wheel fitment today. Just to try out how they look and sit. The specs are
18inch 9.5width +15 (I have the jdm hub etc so its an etc 15mm out). Its quite aggressive, so i'm leaning towards a +22 just to be extra safe. Front and rear will be running the same fitment as the guards have allowed for them well.

In regards to the specific design of the rim and colour i'm still quite torn. Rob's TE37's are rubbing on to me. But I like the matte black look haha.

                      The front

                      The rear

Whats your thoughts guys? The camber rating atm off memory is -2.5 front and -2 rear.
The enkei dont look too bad either. But mmhmh....

If I were you I wouldn't have gone through all this effort to fit a wheel that will fit on a stock car . So that means 18x10.5s at least, or you could go 10.5/9.5 staggered.

looks good mate! Those rims are Mint, but yeah go for something more aggressive I mean you have the gaurds for it!

I thought the plan was 18x10.5 from day one?

Well it wasn't the width I was doing a fitment for but instead for the offset. Don't worry gang, we'll be running 18 by 10.5 by +23 front and rear. Ordered today.

The headache part is just picking a design that works without really seeing it on the car. It's an absolute daunting feeling to pay for something which might turn out wrong. But like a famous person said, you can keep doing what you do and be good, or take a risk and be great!
