Finally got to actually record some driving. Although it wasn't my personal best session, still showed laps in the 1:44s. Feedback and tips most welcome

Dustin's S2000
Thanks Peter! The rear end did get a little loose mid sweeper and kicked out the turn after about half way in that video. Then I did lose it once on the right hander before the sweeper (but stayed on the Tarmac) during my last session when I tried to go into it without touching the brakes. Besides those couple instances, car felt fairly stable and never really had to fight the car.Originally posted by eskimo_firefighter View PostGood driving man, very smooth driving and car looks really stable. With more track time you'd be able to keep shaving off time no doubt if you keep it up.
Were you able to get the rear to slide at all?

Good driving man!
Braking abit to early in a couple corners and heading down the main straight your on the brakes at the 100m mark, try getting on the brake later than that..
Should be able to be at 110km mark going through the sbend you were doing about 80-90km?
Otherwise good times on a fairly stock ap2 duz

If the car is stable your not pushing hard enoughOriginally posted by eskimo_firefighter View PostGood driving man, very smooth driving and car looks really stable. With more track time you'd be able to keep shaving off time no doubt if you keep it up.

Thanks Charbz, will keep all that in mind. And wow.. Didn't realise I was that slow through the S bend. Cheers for the inputOriginally posted by Bluscreama View PostGood driving man!

December 2015/January 2016 update!
I picked up some Defi Advance BF gauges (oil temp/oil pressure/water temp) with the control unit and Spoon rigid collar and bump steer kit while I was on holidays in Japan. I decided that I was going to be tracking more often so I thought why not get some gauges as a 'safety' precaution but really, I like them because they look cool. Well, I think they do anyways :P haha. I wanted to give it a crack and install the gauges with the help from Charbz (appreciate the help!). The oil sensors are attached via a Greddy sandwich plate and the water temp sensor are attached via a Greddy Radiator hose adapter as I'm still running stock radiator. For the rigid collar and bump steer kit, I've heard good things about them. The rigid collar helps stop the subframe from moving under load and the bump steer kit helps correct the steering geometry so it would lead to more predictive handling. We'll see if I feel any difference once I'm back out on track!
Goodiessssss

Just coming off the freeway. How awesome do they look! :P

Due to needing an alignment after installing the Spoon goodies, I thought it'd be a good time to lower my car aswell. I lowered it 10mm all around.
Current alignment: -2.9 camber all round, +5.7 caster, and I believe 1mm toe out at the front & 1mm toe in for the rear.

When I arrived back in Melbourne, I got notified of an ad for some J's Racing headers and a HFC so I bit the bullet and bought it to somewhat complete my J's Racing exhaust system? Haha. An impulse buy but I've always wanted it. I spent a couple hours and installed it with my buddy Phillip, thanks mate!
I also purchased the Tegiwa baffled sump plate and got Steve from MSC Performance to weld it in my sump aswell as changing my engine oil while all the old oil was out.
Past few months, I've noticed some swirl marks on my car that kinda annoyed me and I've been meaning to get it detailed since I purchased it. So I finally went ahead and got it booked in! No more swirl marks (yay!). Don't really have any good pics unfortunately
Oh and nearly forgot, before all this I picked up my car when I landed in Melbourne from DT Panels for the guard/paint work. Thanks to Vu from DT.
Pretty much one of the only few decent photos off my iPhone.

That's pretty much all the updates for now. Cheers

Thanks Peter. Yep, same guy that Ben uses. Good ol' Brian!Originally posted by eskimo_firefighter View PostGood stuff Dustin. Nice selection of mods and cars looking very nice and clean.
I'm guessing that is the same wheel alignment guy that Ben uses?
