Time for another update!
I'll start off with a photo shot recently by mr.KBP Visuals
A lot has happened over the last month, car has been through a big transformation and looks completely different from the last update.
Got my spoiler wrapped in the middle by a mate's brother PANDA STYLE!
Next was something I don't believe anyone has ever done before.. downgrading from a face-lift front, which is what Huy did as we swapped both our front ends LOL
As you all may already know Huy has decided to sell his jdm dc5r and I decided to ask him if he would swap me his facelift. To my surprise he agreed and here we are with another face lift dc5.
The face-lift looks so much more aggressive than the pre-face lift and the paint matches very well!
I also bought some cheap tint from eBay and attempted to "red out" my rear tail lights, the tint didn't turn out as red as I thought it would but for $2 I can't complain
My Top1 canards and winglets arrived from the states. After seeing Top1 motors post an instagram deal which had a buy 1 winglet get 1 canard free deal I just couldn't resist
Fitted and installed last week
Now for my most favourite part of this update.. After running the cr-kais for a couple of months I decided to sell them and go for a lightweight/track wheel setup.
I sold the cr-kais to a good friend and after a week of running on OEM wheels, I was given a deal of the century...
TE37s in 17x8.5+30 wrapped in michelin pilot sport 3s shipped to me for under $1k. I snatched it up straight away, with overnight shipping from interstate
The wheels were in my garage the next day and I waited no further
The end result..
This is how the car looks as of now, other than that I really want too get it ready for my first trackday asap! I can't wait to get out there and experience a trackday for myself and see what this car can do

As for the face-lift, I always wanted to do the conversion but I just couldnt justify the cost of buying the parts and respraying them to match my paint colour but luckily I found someone willing to swap my pfl for it

Nice looking car man !, I love DC5's we are in the process of building one atm, just a quick question, the front bar, was that actually damaged ? or is that the style you are going for ? I have just seen many people do it and just wonder if its some type of style or its legit cracks
Edit: Were the cable ties are.sigpic
