UPDATE:
Its been a while since I posted in here, this is what I've done to my dc in the past 2 months!
Did a quick engine and gearbox oil change. I found it difficult at times to throw it into certain gears, in particular gear 2
Thanks to a great diy thread i found over at the itr-dc5 forum, made the gearbox oil change 10000 times easier by using a garden hose as a funnel
Driving with the new gearbox oil, I didn't really feel much of a difference.. only the higher gears felt more smoother but the gear 2 still gets crunchy from time to time
I also decided it was time for a new headunit. pls do not ever buy yumcha brand headunits, they sound awful even the stock headunit would have sounded better!
So hopped onto gumtree and found a Pioneer single din for $20!! it was too good of a deal to pass up, so I picked it up and installed it the next day.
Installation was simple as the wires were already matched to the oem wires so it was just a matter of taking the old wires off and replacing it with the new!
The car was also starting to get really musky and had some funky odours whenever I got into the car in the morning. So the guys down at Autobarn recommended this product.
This thing shoots bacteria killing spray into the aircon filters under the dash and after 20 minutes, the car was smelling all fresh and even left a lemony fragrance!
Finally I've been on the hunt for wheels these last couple of weeks and after checking out a set of TE37's and finding out myself that they weren't genuine, I bought a set of Works CR-Kais!
They're 18x8.5+32 and 18x9.5+38, to my surprise I could run all 4 without having to roll my guards LOL
The wheels have seen better days and tyres will need to be changed but I'm hoping to run these until I find myself a set of RPF1s!
Gave them a wash the next day as the weather was sunny and they look 100 times better!
And a before/after shot of the car with the CR-Kais on!
That's how the car looks as of now, will try and get more pictures of the car with its new wheels on when I can!Last edited by eltonn; 15-08-14, 12:38 AM.

Nice, wheels really change the car a lot. CR Kai's while waiting for RPF..i wish i had such luxury.
Leme know if you're after a Gruppe M.

but VTEC works fine no crunching or anything which is a +

I think I'll be sticking with the Injen intake haha, had a talk with Josh from Sleepingperformance not long ago and I was told that the longer the cai pipe is from the engine the more power
we would see for the DC5s. Injen is a great bang for buck intake haha and I dont think I could afford to pay for a gruppe M its just too damn much for an intake.

The difference in power between the two would be a couple of kw's here and there, nothing you would notice without a dyno, the gruppe m is nothing more than a k&n short ram with a fancy cold feed air box, the Injen at half the price wins bang for buck everyday
