Time consuming I can definately say. But alignment of the pins was the only PITA!

So Saturday I went out to Lakeside for a track day with Andrew Foy (EG Civic). There are up's and downs to this though. Firstly I did get a new PB of 60.79s but had an small accident. I understeered off Hungry Corner and went on to the grass, though that particular part has huge bumps which destroyed my front lip which ripped right off and also car bottomed out and the bump hit my radiator supports up and back towards the car also bending my radiator and ac condensor. No leaks whatsoever but unfortunate that this had to happen. Will be speaking with the Lakeside officials about it and if it can be smoothed down at least.

I am going to be ordering a Mishimoto Radiator, Mishimoto Hoses, J's Racing Thermostat/Fanswitch. Not going to mess around with trying to fix the current radiator as it has bent quite some angle down there. Hoping it wont cost too much! I will get the video I got when I ran off and also the PB which is on the same session.

Anyways, got the quote for the fix and was so glad it wont cost much. New setup is going to be:

              Track Setup: Std Type R Bumper/Type R Lip/S204 V-Lip/Splitter
Daily Setup: Mugen Front Bumper/Small Splitter Lip

Prob's will get all this fixed up by next week

So Monday I dropped my car in at my private panel beater, where all the FFboys normally get their car done as well. Got the car back yesterday (super quick), he also towed it back home for me I already had my radiator/hoses but still awaiting for my thermostat/fanswitch to arrive from JDMaccessories (I'd like to thank Marcus for that). So tomorrow should all be back together and should be sweet Here are a few progress photos ...

Decided to use all T Bolt Clamps as they will be more reliable and look better too

This side was where it copped most of the impact, it almost chopped off my oil cooler lines. So glad they were still intact and didn't create any pressure either.

I'll have the rest of the progress photos up tomorrow night. When I get everything to put together !! Hopefully the new rad will see drops in water temps by a large scale. Thats it for now ~

Quite slow times, only managed a 62sec that day ~ which is slow. Many issues in first 3 runs consisting of things flying off on sesh 1, still warming up, crash and traffic in sesh 2, another early crash in sesh 3 which no one couldnt run a hot lap (should have been re-run) and sesh 4 was clear run but only time i could try my best for a PB. I think everyone was running quite slow, Darren's Porche Cup Car could only get 56secs i think that day.

It's been some time since my last update. Haven't had much time to properly get on the forums due to work commitments.

So just only last weekend I went out on the track day at Lakeside Park on the 12th of October. I was quite scared of it raining due to rain clouds showing up in the morning, lucky it moved away slowly and barely put down any water on us at all (drizzling barely). Here are a few photos from the day. I ended up only getting a 62 sec flat that day, I think I may had issue with drag from my front splitter I made up last minute and probably also tyre temps and pressures. Now that I know, will only run my Mugen Bumper for the track day next time to minimise drag from the high speed sections. Though it did make the car heaps more stable along the kink and under the bridge.

Besides from that, I was glad no incident's happened besides from my Vortex Generator flying off. It was another day done, going home happy with a intact car.

The car will probably hibernate for the rest of the year due to some big upgrades happening very very soon. So no more track days until next year I guess (unless I go to QR next week), but will be attending all Lakeside/QR and Morgan Park track days for next year. Really want to step up in the game and get more serious with the car.

Plans for upgrades will be suspension and supercharging. Possibly some work with aerodynamics including new splitter design, rear diffuser, side skit splitters and canards.

                            Huge new news guys!

After much discussions and planning through David from Hybrid Racing. Proud to announce that I am now sponsored by Hybrid Racing! This is going to help me with much of my supercharge build and costs, and definately will be a good support from the HR team! I am still planning and getting suggestions from David in steps I should be making first and the steps thereafter, but soon I will have their products on my car.

Now I just need some advice, I am tossing up between a Fully Ported RBC Intake Manifold from Blueprint Racing but I can purchase from HR vs. Xcessive K20 Intake Manifold. The cost difference between them is $200 (RBC being more expensive), but the flow capacity is what I am more concerned and what is more suited for my purpose of use. I need it for the supercharge build and will be expecting around 300kw (98ron) or 350kw (E85) and this is what I have been told from Benny @ BYP and he seems pretty sure that 18psi is pretty safe for a STD Unopened K20A2. I'm not too sure of this but, hope some of you guys can input on this.
