General Update 21/07/13
Got the car back home, but didn't have enough time to play with it as I had to go to work staight after. So on Sunday I gave it a full inside/outside clean and what could I say. So minttttt!
Everything seemed so new. So glad I bought it
So first I started to hack off the Apexi RSM & VAFC2 Controllers and was that a PITA! Wiring was shocking, whoever did this isn't great. Definately one thing I hate, shoddy wiring and messy.
Cleaned up all the wiring and tape, and re did all the soldering. So much cleaner now and at the same time, swapped out the K100 for the K-Pro. Tune that was on my old DC5R did alot better on the new car. Whoever tuned the K100, really didn't bring the total potential of the car. It was really subtle ~
I'll have some more photo's and whatnot updates soon later this week.

A few nights ago, I went to Abdul's place to test fit some rims due to the JDM Hubs and wasn't keen on buying wheels until I knew what sizes and offsets to get. So here is a little picture of the Regamaster MP Polished 17x9 +38 with 255/40 and 17x8 +25 with 235/45. I thought they would fit nicely with proper camber.
So today I had planned to do a guard roll on the car. Originally was going to do all round but ended up just doing the rears until I get my wheels (probably tomorrow). Here are some pictures ...
I don't know if you can see or not, quite a crappy quality picture because it was getting dark. But you know how the side of the fender normally fits flat? When I was guard rolling, thought I'd give it more lip and flared it out on an angle and probably gave 3mm more clearance. I will get better photos when I fit my new wheels.
Will have some more little updates through the week, just prepping it for track day!

So tonight I became bored and just decided to take out my front fender guards off for the new wheels to fit on comfortably. While taking off my front bumper, without realising and thought I had a cheap china oil cooler installed on. I found this ...
A 9 row thick core cooler with proper mounting, quality an fittings, quality stainless braid lines and a perfect made cooler tray. I then looked further to the oil cooler block and the brand was Grex. I had some thought about it and came to my mind, thinking I may have a Trust Oil Cooler Kit made for the DC5R ... which is pretty much a $1.2k kit!!
Was so stoked to see this, but really happy that nothing but the best was used on my new car. Good on you Patrick (prev owner).
I also recived some goodies today for the car ... Neochrome Steel Lug Nuts, Vortex Generator Fins and Spoon Magnetic Bolts.
Not only that I spent a hefty $360 on engine and gearbox oil, reason why costs so much is because its Endless Oils that are used for endurance or race purpose. High quality stuff here, I wouldn't turn to anything else after much good experience with Endless! Highly recommend it if you have the coin!
That's it for today, hopefully new wheels turn up by tomorrow or wednesday, keep an eye out for that!

What made you choose to go the Endless route? $360 is pretty intense, was this for one service or multiple?

This isn't the same car is it? Black DC5R in forsale
Should be good to see what you get up to with this car Stephen. Did you get around to hearing back about importing the race car from Japan? I saw you were approved something.

About the import application. I got approval but mum was really against it. I would have bought it if it wasn't for that. Non stop complaining until I decided to buy this.
I definitely got big plans for the car later on in the year. When I earn the most money in Christmas and wedding season.

So today I recived my wheels, unfortunately I only recieved 3 of 4 wheels because of some seller issue with their stock missing one wheel. But that should be arriving tomorrow. Here are some pictures ...
And also did my rear camber arms ...
Since it was getting late and didnt have C Spanners with me, had to go and borrow a mates set of spanners for tomorrows job. Will be setting the height and getting my front camber bolts and dial in eye camber LOL until I go for alignment.
