It's come a long way Stephen. 54's is nuts, and I think that's what Mightymouse got last year with his PPG setup

Hey all, again it's been a while ~

I never really have much time to bother updating but I recently went out to Lakeside with new additions to the front splitter and a new lighter bonnet.

I purchased the J's Racing Type V Dry Carbon bonnet from Ryan which most will know this is originally off the J's Racing DC5 Race Car that was built quite some time ago! And I kid you not, this bonnet is super light! About 1.5kg from my estimation. I haven't properly weighed it but it shocked me how light it was. It did sustain some minor cracks from Ryan's incident with his DC5S at the track. I ended up using epoxy to strengthen it back that way it doesn't crack further through when air is being loaded onto it.

It was a scorching hot day out Lakeside, topping about 34 degrees at it's peak! Hearing from everyone, they were struggling to beat PB's. I managed to beat mine and reset it to a new PB of 58.70. I was still in need of more seat time, and will be back next year aiming for 57s which is my ultimate goal with it's current setup! For comparison, Tim Ware's DC5R does I believe low 58s to high 57s on a stripped, Toda built motor and wearing slicks ... it's lighter and more powerful than mine which is a huge advantage. This just goes to show how important overall balance is! I am primarily focusing on balance and aero works as it has played a big change in the car. New tyres are also on the agenda but money becomes an issue in the end. I wish I was sponsored but being a small time privateer, it makes everything hard ... especially when I am considering WTAC next year!

To wrap it up until next time, here are some pictures for your pleasure viewing
