Been a while since my last update guys, not much has changed but I feel like I should update my thread
Got the car on the dyno to see how much my car was making, 128kw atw was the final number.
I was pretty disappointed with the numbers, comparing with the last time it was tuned and got 136. He said my car was on a pretty safe tune and a more aggressive tune can boost the power a little, which is something I'll be doing down the track. Still happy with how the car feels now but good to know that I can still get more out of it
Attended a couple meets and the best so far were the ESTBLSHD charity meet and the EOY Clubitr meet.
Was an epic day following a NSX all day, something you don't get to do everyday haha
Before the cruise I got a couple things done, got some customised OEM tie rods installed
And installed my tyres and got an alignment done
And test fitted some canards, what do you guys think?
Other than that have just been maintaining the car and trying to get it ready for a track day soon. Things I need done by the day is engine mounts, service and brakes.
This is how the car looks atm as I have a surprise to come, stay tunedLast edited by jdm.itr; 12-01-14, 10:27 AM.

So I bought some new wheels
They are Rays LE37, 18x8.5 +30
Which is the exact specs that I've wanted for my car, I've always wanted TE37s so this is as close as I'm gona get
So Winton had their annual Fun Day that I recently found out about from mates, I was nowhere near ready, my car was overdue for a service, engine mounts were gone etc, but I kept at it and fixed all those things before the track day
Service, all fluids topped up and changed my mounts to Innovative 60a (big thanks to Andrew, for helping with the install!)
Car feels much better with them, would like to go a bit stiffer but this is good enough for now
The day came and I stupidly went out the night before so didn't get much sleep, but when I got to Winton I was wide awake!
Fun days aren't timed events but I had an app called RaceChrono, that downloads the Winton map and uses the gps to time your lap, as well as sectors etc, I was very happy with the way the app worked.
On the track I was extremely happy with the way the car performed, was very surprised as I didn't have good tyres on the car and it still handled the way I wanted, can't imagine how it would with good tyres! Being a newbie I had no idea about tyre pressures dampening settings etc, I just went out there and had fun! First couple sessions I was just trying to get the right lines and find my braking points, it was a hot day and I might have pushed the car a bit too much as I tried to head out on almost every single session! Traffic was a huge issue with slow and fast cars being bunched up all together.
Had a professional driver hop in the car with me and said all my lines were perfect except for one bit of the track, when I was with him I had an open track and was doing really really good, but unfortunately because of the heat my tablet that had the timing froze -.-
Once I started getting confident I starting making room for myself so I could go for some fast runs, I consistently got around -1:50 but I really wanted to push into the 1:48-9's because with enough space I knew the car could, at the end of the day I ended up with a 1:48.9 which I'm extremely happy with!
Overall very happy with the day and can't wait for the next one, very happy that the car withstood the day so well and even though the car wasn't 100% I still was able to enjoy every second of it!
Got some go pro footage and fly bys so I'll try upload them as well
