Update
Hey guys, over the past few weeks I have been eluding to a "big update" however there has been some minor delays so the "big update" will come in 2 parts. This will be part 1.
To start off, the car has been running exceptionally well recently. Never missing a beat and just a joy to drive. I've clocked up my 120 hours on L plates and turn 18 next Friday So I have my P plate test booked for that day, then I'll finally be a lone ranger
In the parts department there has been a few new additions.
First of all I managed to pick up a pair of JDM White Sidemarkers from the former owner Bennet. They give the car a nice clean look and were an easy install, love them
Whilst trolling around Ozhonda I came across a deal that was too good to refuse and before I knew it a payment was made and goods were being shipped to my door
So in came this bad boy
Out with the old, and in with the new
Also, since I saved a fair bit on buying the intake I decided to invest in the Tegiwa Induction Hoses. So tubing to replace stock intake cowl and an engine breather hose came in
The gains are very noticeable and I am loving my new vtec sound Install was easy and I havn't noticed any weird noises or rattles (probably due to engine mount rattles cancelling it out). So they are just some of my new mods.
I'll be back in a few weeks with another update and hopefully P plates

Okay So I finally got my act together to install the parts that form "Update #2"...
To start off, a new set of rims are on their way from Japan (no surprises, many already know) and to fit the aggressive rims I've had to order some suspension goodies so in came:
- 2 Pairs of Ingalls Front Camber Bolts (never took a shot of the bolts)
- Hardrace Rear Camber Arms
So then, now with the major part of the update. Over the past months I have been looking for the best way to lower my car from 4WD spec and to gain that added "track stance" and cornering ability I desire. Everyone put in their two cents on which coils and rates to go for (Tom thought I should run 20+Kg Springs!) but I finally decided on the popular bang for buck coil-overs the BC Racing BR Series in the spring rate of 10/12kg. I was going to up it to 12/16 however the car has to be my daily for many years so maybe one day down the track that will happen (or an updated suspension)
I also opted to install the coils and camber parts myself as I enjoy the DIY. My friend Dale came by to give an extra set of hands but the install was fairly straight forward
Stock Camber Arm and Strut
Dumped it for a little while, it's raised a tad now
Mega Rear Camber
And now, she is done !! Booked in for an alignment this week so I'll update with my specs later on
At this stage there will be one more parts update this year as I think it's time to settle down a bit. Track in exactly one month to test out new goodies See you then
