My money is on he went to Recaro in Morabbin and ordered the bolster through them and i believe they change bolsters there for you also.

Yes, it was indeed Morabbin Recaro, they have plenty of the bolsters in store and install for a little of $10. bargain IMO

There's some good DIYs on google but as long as you have time and patience it should be simple. just remove rails, pull back fabric and replace over metal bar

So today I hit Winton for the first time, very technical track and had my hands full. Running on a nearly stock car was tough, had some good competition

Main competition was Bennet and Bernard EK's, both running on semis but doing the same times

Here are my best times at the end of each session

                  Session 1: 1.53.5
                  Session 2: 1.52.5
                  Session 3: 1.52.5
                  Session 4: 1.52.0
                  Session 5: 1.49.9

I struggled with my OEM brake pads however my RE001s were amazing, couldn't find a problem with them Learning my lines and braking points will come in time but so far I have loved winton and can't wait to go back

New parts coming in this week and next, watch this space

Shipments finally arrived from the states

After much convincing from the ITR community before I got my car I decided I needed engine mounts with all the track work I'll be doing. In came some Innovative 60a engine mounts

After Winton my brake pads were gone, so I opted to replace them with Project Mu B-Spec for front and back

Through Mattlew, I met Ronnie from Carbon Plus. He happened to have a DC5R OEM wing with carbon centre parts and fibreglass sides. I snapped it up, and got it painted. Wanted to look a little unique :P

And, after much looking around and searching I decided on an exhaust. I was initially after a PG but I found it wasn't exactly what I was after (also hard to find) so I looked around for an exhaust that was unique and suited my taste. The previous owner Bennet bought the same exhaust for it's uniqueness and I loved it, so I ordered one from the states
                    Skunk2 Mega Power installed

It's loud and I love it

Very nice times for Winton. Have you installed the b-spec pads yet? Just wondering if there's a lot of squeal in them from daily driving.
