glad you kept your cool and kept safe.
But saturday night @ 3am, and at that area of the city, expect some sort of harassment.
i once decided to cruise through the city/cbd during new years, to check out the atmosphere, even with the police along the streets, rowdy crowds still approached us cars at the lights and i happened to be up front. Luckily for me car was untouched, but using that experience, i vowed never to drive anywhere near George St.

lol some of these responses...run him over...stick his head to his arse..
you have a long way to go in life...if violence is your only solution
violence never ends well...it seems great at the heat of the moment
ask me how i know...
a few years back stopped at a set of lights. one of the "homeless mobile windshield washers" decided my windshield needed a cleaning with his dirty water. even after i repeatedly refused his services he proceeded to clean my windshield and after i kindly refused to pay him for something i didnt want. he decided to damage my bonnet. i was young and aggro bak then...of course i got out and punched his lights out.
cops showed up the next day and $1600 later i learnt i should have just given him the $2.
put your ego away and just walk away.

Late '80s, parked at the Rocks with my GF in my old '75 SBC and came back to find the windshield smashed and dents in the doors and guards. I'm sad to see that Sydney hasn't changed in 30 years. Mind you, it was NYE.
I'm glad you are ok - that's the most important thing. +1 karma to you for keeping your cool1988 CRX

Yeah this story is all to familiar.. What everyone has said makes sense, some people are just fucking idiots.. I was coming home through Kings Cross at about 230am on a saturday night a few weeks ago and I was scared of all the people around being close to my car. I'm very protective, lol..

When I work overnight shifts at McDonalds I see heaps of drunk people or just trouble makers. One night we got a bunch of drunks that ran into the car park randomly and just smashed every cars tail lights for no reason.
Morale of the story is I think just between 1-4am, don't park your car anywhere without supervision lol
