After the long wait due to an order to made product, my Amuse titanium exhaust has finally arrived. It set me back around 2.5k and my friend was kind enough to source it in hk and send it to me. It is fully constructed from titanium which gives a unique exhaust note and weighs in at a mear 4.75kg offering a weight saving over the stock 13.9kg (jdm).
It has a 60Φ diameter piping with a 100Φ diameter flame burnt muffler tip. The entire exhaust pipe will turn purple/blue when heated.
The craftsmanship has been improved recently this year, where the entire axle back is now weld bent, previously was majority mandrel bent. The axle back loop that travels over the rear car axle is a lot straighter now. The titanium strip welds are so nice, you can bearly feel them when running your fingers across. The hooks that use to be on the end of the axle back have now shifted to the front of the resonator, giving the b-pipe some support.
Im so eager to know how it'll sound with the Mugen header, how it compares with my previous BC3 and watching the whole system turn blue!
