Looks good! Should be fine with a bit of a drop and some camber. Thanks for the photos, gives me a good indication of how my wheels shall look as well!

Can't wait for fitted pics
No worries. Tomorow arvo should have some pics with the drop and camber
Went back to Tempe Tyres this morning for the wheel alignment I paid for yesterday.
They refused to adjust the camber at the front as it was 'too much work for the labour I paid for', due to my camber adjustment being bolts inbuilt in the coilover requiring the strut brace to be taken off. He wanted $60 more, I paid $40 yesterday which is low but I did buy the tyres at the same time, and did tell him I wanted to adjust front and rear camber.
Then went to the rears and didn't change anything, he said the thread on the camber arms were already maxed out. I have BC racing rear camber arms:
That doesn't seem right? The specs just before he touched anything were:
And that's what it is now as well, no changes to the toe as he said it was perfect already (1ish toe being negligible)
Wouldn't think I needed new camber arms to set camber past -1.5 degrees? let alone make equal camber on each side.
To my knowledge they are in good condition.
happy with the price of the tyres, but they might need to review the guy doing wheel alignments lol.
on that note. Could anyone recommend a skilled wheel aligner/suspension shop in Syd?
Yeah.
Took it to Pedders in mascot today, mechanic there said the camber arms are good for -10 degrees.
Running about -2.5 at the rear and less at the front.
Also lowered it particularily in the fronts, from 610mm to 580mm. Rears were 580, down to 575mm.
Getting lots of scrubbing on the rears, seems like its coming from the inner clearance.
was painful driving home from bankstown along the M5 today, was scrubbing everytime the road surface changed, and on corners. Was taking it very very easy.
Will take the wheels off in the morning, and see where it is scrubbing. Initial look from sticking my head under the rear bar with a torch tell me its not hitting the coilovers, not quite sure whats doing. Will find it tomorow anyway
Yeah same specs. Might have my height settings too low, after today. Almost maxed out on height with the tein flex, probably about 10-15mm more adjustment left to go lower.
i got tein flex and they are on the lowest setting! yeh i got scurbbing at the back at first...its your tyres scrubbing agains your rear bumper where it connects to your fenders...dw, they tyres will eat away a nice groove there over time...mine completely stopped scrubbing now hahhaha...pics asap!
Nice PG, did you get it brand new? Love the match of the new wheels to your kit. Aggressiveness all round.
Yeah got it brand new from JDM yard the other night. There was a small dent on the topside of the axel-back section, whoever shipped it packed two exhuasts in one box and that happened. Doesnt bother me but, won't see it when mounted
Looking good and damn your low! Especially since you have a front bar. Don't they have speed humps over there?
Thanks temp. Oh there's definately speed bumps and shit ramps...I've been thinking about that pay-off for awhile (clearance VS appearance) and decided to just do it. Riding high like I did before sorta defeated the purpose of the kit lol
