The most important thing is to learn how to drive your car to its full potential before you go and try to blame in on the setup.

went to toda yday for a firmware update for ecu and a retune..
apparantly the firmware fixed some vtc relay lag issue..anyway here are the results..
so..thats a 11kw increase (bearing in mind that my previous dyno was done on stock wheels/tyres in winter)..i can feel the difference now..and figure makes sense considering the mods i have
i also have launch control although i will most likely never use it :P
oh and heres a video of the max power run on the dyno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ea7JalFwl4s

tbh..i avg less than 5k a year so the chance of anyone spotting me let alone a cop is almost nil :P
in other news...a quick recap of honda nats:
starting from the drive up: the best part imho was me and stevan leading the pack and all we could see in our rear mirrors was bunch of itrs and the funniest was whenever stevan dodged a pothole..the whole line just snake across..so awesome when looking at that in my rearview mirror going up/downhill..the citr dinner was great although i regret not cooking my own steak :P..but i met so many new ppl and was a good way to put faces to username..hope to see them at the bbq as well...the cabins at wakefield were great but what happened there shall stay b/w me stevan alex and timmy :P:P..was good to wake up the next day all gee'd up and occupy a line of sheds in the pits just for the citr crew..i missed the 1st passenger session as i was too busy checking tyre pressures so my 1st timed session was awful on cold tyres..i could tell i was getting progressively faster as the day went on and ended up with a PB of 1:17.320...i think a time of 1:15 would do justice to the car in the current form..any lower than that is a big ask on street tyres w/o lsd. its still 2secs off my previous PB and this was only my 2nd time out. I now need new front pads and rotors and my camber bolts arrived so time for some hectic stance
..all in all a great weekend and hopefully i get to do it again next which will be most likely be my last honda nats :P..will upload the video from my contour soon once i have time to edit it.

Are these cops just doing random checks? or were you like speeding...or vtec-ing around the neighborhood to draw attention?...not once have I had any experiences like this.
