    My DC5R

    Hi Guys,

    Thought I might post up specs of my car with a couple of photos, I try to focus on suspension mainly but that is nearly complete.

    My car is a 2002 DC5R ABP.

    The car currently has:

    POWER
    Toda Headers
    J's Racing 60RS
    Gruppe-M Intake
    RBC Intake Manifold
    P2R IMG
    KARCEPTS TB Adapter
    Spoon TB
    ALEX Motorsport soild engine mounts
    ALEX Motorsport reinforced shifter springs

    Driveline
    ATS 1300kg Single Carbon Clutch
    Spoon 5.1 FD
    ATS 1.5 way Carbon LSD

    SUSPENSION
    Toda Fightex Dampers (F: 8k R: 12k)
    J's Racing Roll Centre Adjuster
    Whiteline Front & Rear Adjustable Swaybars (24mm)
    Top Fuel Inverted Tie Rod Ends
    Whiteline Front Camber Bolts (1 set)
    Mfactory Rear Camber Arms
    SuperPro Caster Bushing Kit
    Current alignment is -1.5deg camber front and -1deg rear.
    Front Toe is +1mm out
    Rear Toe is 0.
    Caster is +2.6deg

    Currently using Carbonetics Super Street pads (0-500deg)
    with stock calipers and Motul RBF600 brake fluid.

    And great choice of mods too.

    How does the ALEX motorsport mounts compare to the innovative mounts? Harder softer?

    Why +1 toe at front? I know generally it will give better turn in but I found it instead made the car wanted to dive in too much.

    May I also ask where did you source your Castor bushing kit?

          I've never had innovative mounts.
          i've had mugen mounts, and spoon engine damper for about 3000km (mugen still up for sale, keep forgetting to take pics) and they still had too much movement for me.
          When i first installed the ALEX motorsport mounts, it was crazy vibration. Idle is like mugen + engine damper, but at about 1000rpm to 2000rpm, it was nuts.
          After 2 track days, it feels like it has soften up, however, at 60kmph, the rear vision mirror is kinda of blur.
          After oil change on fri, will try the drag strip and see how it launches.

          I've only ever 0.5mm toe out in before, but since i will be getting another alignment after the roll centre adjuster, i will give it a go and see wat it's like.

          I got my caster bushing kit from WA suspension, but if u check fulcrum suspension website, u should be able to find a distrubutor in your area. Steering is a little heavier after the caster bushings.

          The inverted tie rods made my turning radius larger with no clanging sound (at full lock due to upwards pointing steering arms), however it has made the car more twitchy. Suspension guys told me that my bump steer is now toe IN, instead of the standard OUT, which i hope to correct using the roll centre adjuster (make steering arm parallel to front LCA)

                      yeh.. either j's, spoon or toda.. toda is still yet to be released.

                      wanted a hytech one.. but bloody exp..

                      550USD shipped...
