    Thanks blitz

Got a few things from Jdmyard. S2000 clutch master cylinder with a checkerd sports spacer and also a tube of hondabond.

Also had to order another radiator fan from hybrid racing because I only bought 1 for my full sized rad... So smart.

Chase bays order finally came in, ordered a brake line tuck kit, grounding wires(not pictured) and a -16an weld on fitting for my rocker cover.

My friend David was kind enough to sell me his Jdm k20a oem LSD for my box.

Just 2 happy snaps to keep motivation and the build rolling.

Thanks dnapol! I try to do the best that I can since this build is planned out to be as tucked and clean as possible to my knowledge, skills and experience.

I would of loved to do my own fabrication such as welding my own cage etc but with my experience it's best left to the professionals. Anything else that does not require extra training I am down to give it a go. Trial and error is the best way to learn imo.

Toddxxx I believe you are right but that's ok, I too have also been keeping an eye on your thread haha! keep up the work with the s2k.

I was eying on 3 cars to buy as my first car the dc2r, mazda 3 or the s2000. Only reason the s2000 wasn't bought over the dc2r is because it's a 2 seater and having siblings I needed 4-5 seats.

Picked up a few things last night from the local powdercoating guy, front bumper support and the support beam done in a gloss black.

Oil return fitting welded on and coated gloss black along with the vtec solenoid heat shield.

Didn't waste time so on went the heat shield and the oil pan.

          Hanging for now.

Rotated it back up after an hour and will be sitting like this (covered) for the next 24 hours.

Removed the driver side engine mount bracket and timing chain tensioner cover to get sent off for some sandblasting and coating.

That's it for tonight ladies and gents! been busy building furniture, cleaning and organizing a few things for the new house.

                Will do!

Just finished moving most of my belongings from my mums house to my house. No garage at the moment due to renovations so all the car parts are staying in the spare room.

A little run down on some of my left over wheels.

                Te37 16x8 +15

                Enkei RC-S 16x8 +24

                Gab Sports 16x8 +32

                Enkei Racing S 16x8 +32

Picked up some oem parts yesterday. Exhaust manifold gasket and flywheel bolts. Still to come are spark plug seals, top seals and a rear main seal.

Very sad week as my dog is up for an adoption, 5 month old Marlo. I have 3 good friends coming to see him this weekend.

Thanks Kenny, Congrats on your PB. I have taken the car once to winton but it was a real disappointment with the ad07 I had. I will definitely head out to the track with the new setup though. It's going to be a little rough as my gearings will be way off with the 5 speed box haha.

Worked on the motor a little tonight.

Pulled out the plugs and to my suprise, Hks sparkies! Ballin101.

New oem exhaust manifold gasket on.

Turbo manifold gasket looking at home.

Precision waste gate mounted back on to the manifold along with the dump.

Threw straight on the K&N air filter, will definitely get a proper intake fabricated up once the car is at the running stages

Mocked up the turbo oil return fitting.

I tested and tried out many ways to route the oil feed line and I'm pretty set on this layout.

It feels like I am so close to the finish line but all the little things I want to do all add up. The downside now is that I need to respray my engine bay again, found some small bubbles of rust on the shock tower.
I should have just did the prep job from the beginning to be honest, I really hate these problems creeping up on me by surprise like this.

Got my Hardrace bushings pressed in by the boys at ZEDS. I will be giving these arms a good clean up before it goes back together with the car. I will also be applying some paint to the bushings metal surface as they are known to rust.

Ordered a few things from JHPUSA, sadly it got stuck at customs for a good 3 weeks.

Hasport replacement rear engine mount bracket and some new 88a bushing inserts.

Skunk 2 replacement ball joints for the front upper camber arms.

K-Tuned shifter cable heat shield tubing. (bought 2 but only 1 pictured)

                          K-Tuned Rocker cover breather filter.

K-Tuned coolant temp sensor and the RHD clutch line.

K-Tuned shifter cable bushings and a high flow fuel filter (8an) rated to 300-500hp.

                          K-Tuned A/C & P/S eliminator kit.

                          Bolt Boys hardware.
                          * Engine bay kit (dc2/r)
                          * Engine mount kit
                          * K-Series engine kit
                          * upper control arms and strut kit

JHPUSA have some really nice looking stickers. Thanks again to Jeff @ JHPUSA for looking after me.

                              Kind Words my friend. =]

Went over to my mums house to check up on the motor after that horrible windy event we had in Melbourne not long ago. Threw on the k-tuned breather while I was at it.

I probably won't be using this rocker cover though. Next rocker cover I'll be shaving the OEM breather port and will be welding on a single -16an fitting preferably to the back near the firewall for my custom catch can setup

Was a little bored last night so I decided to work on the Hasport Mounts, started by removing the old inserts. Next will be a good wet sanding session followed by buffing with metal polish and finally reassembling everything with the new 88a inserts

Threw on some of the new hardware tonight and the feeling of seeing new bolts on an engine improves its aesthetic to the next level. Every little bit counts when it comes to this stage.

With the previous slack on the oil feed line I fiddled and mucked around a little more and concluded to this. Not too sure if I will have any problems with it routed this way so please chime in the experts out there.

                                (previous)

                                (current)

A little bit of engine porn for the true enthusiast.

check out the light passing through the K-Tuned cut out!

It will be sitting like this untouched for now until I get the gearbox sorted, intake manifold shaved and coated and a few other small bits and pieces.
