All these little things I guess is what makes modifying your car fun Enjoy it, even if it is a pain in the a$$ lol!

So just before I went for the wheel alignment I grabbed a pair of these for the rear end! WOW! AD08 255/40/17. expensive don't remind me

Headed on down to Bridgestone Smithfield for my alignment.
Asked for -3 degrees all round camber and -2 toe front and +2 toe on the rear. Which is what they recomended and also the boys at BYP also recomended.

The car feels amazing on the road. The REAR AD08's out handle the front RE002's (lol go figure) which on very hard cornering enduces understeer which I guess is predictable but is bottlenecking so eventually AD08's will be in order for the front also.

The Rear is scraping on compression/bumps. Any more camber and I'll sacrifice handling, guards are already rolled and I don't entirely want to raise the car but may be my only option. Flaring is an option but would require a spray job and if I do a respray I'd want a different color and just go all YOLO and put over-fender flares and flare the front also for like 245's.
    Decisions....

Here is how it sits now, not the best picture but will get around to one soon.

Oh how nice. I'm pretty sure it will cause an issue if you have different tyres from the front with traction. But nonetheless, where did you order them from?

I'll eventually order a set for the front. Don't know if I should wait till they wear out and then get ad08's or just take them off now whilst they are still good and sell them.

I got them from Tyres N More from Wetherill Park, Sydney

Another package arrived today (2 more packages to come!!)

This is an Izze Engineering product which was designed to simulate the S2000's 'Air Pump' so when you remove it there is no CEL light.
NOW, this was only designed for US & UK models I believe, but this here is a prototype which he is letting me try out for him which should work on the Aus models, being the first one available I'm hoping it works.
Worst case if it does not work I will have a CEL light for a couple of months until I get an Haltech which will then override it.

it removes all these unnecessary items from the engine bay and the Physical air pump from behind the front bar.

                      Hoping to install this weekend!

2 more packages on its way to be announced upon arrival

                        Nice!
I've seen those izze engineering kits before. Keen to see if it works!
Was just going to wait till ecu and cancel it but might go this route before

What's the air pump for anyway?

I'll update on how it goes and maybe do a right up/DIY/thread if it does work and for those you may be interested.

Mainly for emissions on start up it injects air into the cat converter to help reach operating temps.
In cold climates such as U.S and U.K it may be helpful in winter but here in Australia its never needed and I can hear mine turn off within 5-10seconds after start up.
These are also to commonly fail and not work anymore causing a CEL.
It also looks horrible in the engine bay all these extra pipes for nothing.

So Saturday I jacked up the car and threw it on stands, removed the front bumper and removed the air pump and all its parts which included rubber hoses, metal hoses, vacuum lines that ran to metal lines that ran along the fuel rail above the inlet manifold and some solenoids.
Was a bit time consuming as removed most of the stuff is fiddly but none the less an easy job.
Capped the port on the injen that the air pump ran too and also purchased a metal blanking plate for the air pump valve which sits on top of the intake manifold right at the back near manifold. For now its also been capped.

Removed this sucker from behind bumper

This is all the rubbish removed from the engine bay and bumper

The wiring install was pretty quick after I relised I had the wrong installation instructions (LOL)
I'm only left with 1 engine light (air pump) which Izze Engineering has told me to check a certain wire which is a common probably people run into
which will be done tomorrow morning, hes almost certain this will fix it.

Received an exciting package last week also, something i've wanted ever since I purchased the car

                              Yep, clean as, AP2 Taillights

also to go with it, AP2 tail light conversion harness with wires and connectors already made up, OEM globe holders, metal brackets to mount the tail lights and a free marvel toy (LOL)

On the way also is OEM AP2 tail light gaskets although the ones on it are not all that bad its better to be safe than have a swimming pool in the boot.

BERK 70mm HFC has finally been posted and should be here in a week or two.

                              Peace
