Mini update:

One of the first things I wanted to do was to upgrade from the OEM head unit, CDs started to bore me! Picked up a JVC KD-R616 off my good pal Tony for 100$. Was going to fork out for a double din DVD but this will do, it has iPod/USB and aux, plus the little storage thing under the head unit has come quite handy which was another reason I went for a single din.



Was going to do DIY but my dad insisted I take it to "the guy".. So maybe it'll be in tomorrow

Nice clean car Andy. Got any mods planned or are you gonna keep it stock for a while? Also maybe invest in some engine mounts as the oem ones aren't that strong

Thanks Hau. Umm just gonna work on the exterior for now. So gonna pick up some bc br coils, new plates, vlip and eventually a set of sbc rpf1 17x9 +22 and an injen LOL.

As for engine mods like mounts, headers and catback, they'll come after I pay the car off abit. So ill try refrain from vtecing alot as I've heard from every dc5 owner that they're (mounts) weak!

Thanks man. That's somewhat true, but I'm a fussy guy so I tend to wash it quite a bit. Even if a little imperfection I'll take out the rag and wipe it down haha!

Okay well, had college today 9am to 1pm so afterwards on the way home, dropped by the audio place and got my head unit it. Sounds better now plus it's got more functionality lol (aux/usb). Also looks good with the colours

Okay well a few things have been happening with the car, I have acquired quite a few parts BUT haven't had the time nor chance to install them. They've pretty much been sitting in the garage or have yet to arrive.

Mods purchased include:

- Buddyclub N+ coilovers
- Injen CAI
- Hasport 60a engine mounts (still in melb, waiting for it to be posted *fingers crossed*)
- Todd's tie rods (waiting for the bulk buy delivery)
- new plates (same plate just different design as I couldn't think of anything to do) + beatrush number plate bracket/relocator.

And also... I'm viewing a set of wheels on Saturday and most likely will put a deposit down to purchase them. So stay tuned. More pics will come when mods arrive + installed

I didn't mean to be modding the car so quick but I'm not the type to say no to a good deal, so my bank account has been getting a whooping. Thank god for tax return!!!!
