As an owner of a BMW E30, I've fixed your comment.

Worst wiring ever, In an "uncomplicated" '80s BMW the SIL screws up and ruins your dash setup. Wires become brittle and start shorting and all you want to do is apply petrol and a blowtorch. The technology is nice until it gets old. It's giving my old British Leyland Triumph a run for its money in terms of over-complicated design flaws (strangely enough, the Triumph DID catch fire!). Don't even get me started on odometer cogs becoming brittle at 200K kms.

By comparison, the Japanese cars of the era have precious few wiring/technology flaws baring Starions and Vortexs and their digital dashs - strangely enough, a widebody Starion and Mitsu Vortex are on my "want to own" list.

Many lols were had at the palm beach cruise prior to this (John can confirm lol). It was also the frist time I got to seriously test the car out..dialed down the traction control to dynamic mode so got a bit of rear end action in a couple of corners but it safely brought me back Completely different to driving the dc5 through the twisties...piloting such a huge car requires so much more concentration (thankfully I dont have to worry about shifting gears)...I was a bit worried about brakes but I think I can go harder on them..they definitely held up well considering the weight of the car. One thing I did learn though was to not drive with the top down when its 30+ degrees outside (Shak now has some competition )

Funnily enough, you'll find that it's actually nicest to drive with the top down on a sunny winter day. I actually drive top down more often in cold weather (as long as it's not threatening to rain) with the heater on. People who don't own convertibles will think you're a knob but hey...it's actually very nice. Just have a beanie handy.

Anything above 25degC on a sunny day and I'll take the Integra out.
