Update 3/3/13
Big weekend, big update.
eLtrix's throttle body came in and I installed it straight away. Direct comparison:
Measured with some calipers. This new one was up by 2 mm to 67 oh yeah. Installed it tried starting, as many of you many already know since I posted it in a tech thread, the idling went crazy 1000-2000 rpm rev hunting. After trying to reset the ECU 3 times I finally came to the conclusion that there was something wrong with the tb. Some clever members on here suggested the IACV was seized and I should remove for cleaning. The 5 star headed torx driver wasn't readily available in shops so I pulled off the entire section with a phillips head driver. Couldn't exactly un-seize it so I transplanted the old IACV from my crappy tb to the new one and re-installed.
Resetting the ECU again finally did the trick and it's idling comfortably under 1000 rpm when warm now. SO HAPPY.
My Mugen SS also came in along with some EP3R tie rod ends to suit.
Stupidly, I thought EP3 and DC5 parts were completely interchangeable at first. Lucky some members on here pointed out to me that the tie rods would need replacing (THANK YOU GUYS). This is the massive difference in size between the DC5 and smaller EP3 tie rod ends:
The install took A LOT longer than I thought since the front passenger side refused to go in for about 3 hours. Finally, with some ingenuity from my dad, he finally got it in for me All in all, I got about a 25 mm drop at the rear and a 20 mm drop at the front. The ride is a lot more rigid now too. Good for a track set up. Not good for a city driving set up. Oh well I'm happy. No coilovers on P's since that just asks for a defect.
Final mod for the weekend: Cabin air filters. Great deal from blueys45. No more poisoning from external pollutants

They are. My cabin is smelling much fresher than usual
Update 15/03/13
Here's the instagram photo for those of you who don't follow me
New RBF600 and rod seal ready for my replacement brake master cylinder. Getting the brake lines loose without a flare wrench isn't the easiest job in the world. But it's been done with a regular open ended wrench. Bit of effort though to crack em. The nuts holding the master cylinder to the booster were accessed my lifting the car up and going through the gap from the driveshaft to the engine (In case anyone wants to know :P)
There wasn't much space there to pull the master cylinder off so some parts had to come off. Stubborn parts like:
Thin as too. Need a thicker one. Thinking Mugen. Anyone have one for sale?
Old cylinder. Gunked and leaky. The rod seal was pretty stuck on to the booster. Greased up and a bit worn. Here was the biggest indication that the cylinder was leaky.
An original booster:
My booster:
The leaking brake fluid stripped off the protective paint on my booster and gunked up the hole. A bit of struggling later:
Did a full bleed on the brakes and 1.1 L of RBF600 later. All done!
The worst part of my day was that my impact wrench couldn't tighten my lugs to 80 ft lbs and I was unaware until I took it for a test drive. Heard a weird rubbing and clicking noise. Took it back home and retightened everything. Now we're laughingLast edited by knobosaurus; 15-03-13, 11:25 PM.

It's been a long time since the last update. There's some new things in the works Not performance-wise (Can't afford). I'll start things off with this sweet cover my mum and dad had sewn for me:
Those with CW cars will agree this is a necessity when having your car parked for extended periods of time.

Update (21/04/13):
This is just a small update before some of the bigger parts come in
My TRUST filter element was gunked and by the looks of it, restrictive. Newer element to go into my sleeper airbox is:
While it's been said that the CAI will give the best gains, it would probably be defectable for me. I've got some plans to do the Hondata Airbox mod. Has anyone done it here before and can suggest methods to get tools into such a small box?
New window visors also came in from Shift Performance:
Fit on quite well I must say but my install job wasn't perfect. The visor part closest to the side mirrors keeps slipping off (Non-adhering). Who here knows how to fix this?
Also took my car off-road for the first time. Never travelled so slow in my life. Covered about 6 km in 30 minutes. The Mugen SS was really taking a beating and I was so scared the shocks blew out.
I was lucky though. No scraping underneath and no dead shocks.
New Spoon Type ONE sticker gone on my front lip (Soon to not be stock anymore)
Mate purchased a CBR125R so we had a mini-cruise down along the beach coast near Semaphore.
Honda and Honda working in tandem
Final work for the update: My spark plug cover was cracked six ways to sunday. Got myself a used one in Gloss black which I'm hoping will go well with a valve cover painted in crinkle red.
Not liking the black on silver look terribly since it resembles the base model look too much. Hopefully won't stay that way much longer.
Any help on my issues would be much appreciated fellas :P
