Suspension Upgrade + 5 stud Conversion

Hey guys I know some of you are pretty keen for this update, so here it is!!

I’ll start off by discussing the parts I had decided to go with:

                          • 5-stud Hubs – Type R
                          • Integra Luxury Rims
                          • Ground Control Coil-overs
                          • Project Mu Brake pads
                          • SPC Camber kit

I’ve spent the last couple of months organising all the bits and pieces required for my 5 stud conversion and suspension upgrade!! I managed to pull it all together right in time for the weekend just past, I had a few mates and my dad (who flew down from QLD) come together and help for what turned out to be a massive weekend!!

Bright and early Saturday morning the work started – we started with swapping out the front hubs and installed the ground control coil overs then moved onto the rears (Although it took a few long hours!!) I also replaced (nearly) all the bushes in the suspension – Including the rear sway bar!

The next step was taking the car to centreline suspension to have the suspension fully aligned and checked out to make sure it was all on securely.

It wasn’t all smooth sailing; I was alerted to the fact that one of the rims I had purchased was buckled when the four wheel alignment was being attempted. Thankfully I was able to track a single rim from Honda Wreck and they gave me a good price – Problem solved.

After a quick drive, It was plainly clear how much better the car handled, there is little to no body roll – I can’t recommend this gear more than enough!
