The DC2R was on display at Sweden’s biggest car show that was this easter!
First event that haven't been a track day! but at least it was in a display for a JDM track day!
Gave the old girl a really good polish and wax, only took two days

Small update, perhaps one of the most important for this season!
I've had a HR gen 1 no cut since 2011 in the car, worked well enough since it's a swapped car.
Got in touch with them regarding the gen 2 and with my concerns that the kinks from the gen 1 was resolved, and they should have been.
Fitted the gen 2, had issues with first gear, tried do adjust the wires, got it to work okey but i wasn't happy. Test drove my friends EG with a Ktuned billet race spec shifter, said and done, a new shifter was ordered!

And now fitted!



And figured it was time to ditch the wink mirror, had a small crack in one of the mirrors and that bothered me!

So a Zoom engineering Carbon Penta mirror was ordered with the model specific arm

Love the look of it!

It’s a cool looking mirror but is it better? I looks like it minimises the view without getting a wider angle

Haven't tried on track yet, but compared to my old wink mirror (my oem cracked a few years ago) that just vibrated resulting in not seeing a thing - so far so good! I'll give you and update when i have my next track day!

So first track day of the year done, the car worked almost flawless, toptip! check every bolt and loctite on Ktuned parts! Quick fix but other then that i had a hard time getting in the zone! It was a good to learn the car again with the new set up!

And clean once again, white wheels and a track focused car was a great idea..!



Noticed that my nrg quick release had some play in it so i swapped that out for a OMP collapsable 60mm spacer and a Swedish snapoff quick release!
No play what so ever! The car feels tight in the steering again!

The splitter is all done and fitted!
It's very rewarding seeing the splitter today compared to two weeks ago when it was just a sheet of aluminum
Took quite a few hours to get it like i wanted it and got a lot of help fabricating all the brackets!
Second time i've ever vinyled something!

Turned out great! Missing the last to splitter rods in the picture! It's very sturdy!

Thanks! They are some generic ones for a s2000 that i modified!

Oh, and this happened!
My tracklife composites cut outs arrived!
