    Nathan's abp DC5-R

    Hi guys,
for those of you that don't know me, the names Nathan, and over the next 18 months there should be a bit going on with my car, so i thought i should finally start up a build thread.

As a bit of background, i've always been a honda guy, starting with an 83' accord, 92' eg si civic, 98' ek4 civic and in 06' i picked up my 04' dc5r with 26,000 km's on it.

From then the car was used as a daily driver, so due to that, and other commitments, mods were kept pretty light on.

Then due to an expanding family, in may last year i bought an 07' crv lux in nighthawk black and the dc5 became the weekend warrior i always had intended it to be and the car now sits on 74,000 km's

Over the last few years though, i have been stockpileing parts for my build and over the next 12 months i hope to get all the drivetrain and engine work done and decide from there where to with the car. I'm very keen to add a ap1 to the garage so funds may have to be diverted towards that soon.

My aim for the car is really just to build a bit of a allrounder, it will see a little 1/4mile, a little track, and a fair bit of hardparking in between.

will try and update with some fresh photos when i get a chance,
    thanks for reading,
    Nathan

so all has been pretty quite on the dc5 front, its barely left the shed in the last couple of months as i've had a fair bit going on,
ordered a new set of number plates and thats about it,

there is still a couple of things i want to buy before i get stage 1 of my parts install done, and the way i'm going it looks like that might not happen for a while, my wallet is so right now

anyway something that did cost me a lot of money and is car related, is my new driveway, this has been a washed out granite shitstorm since i bought my place a few years back, finally bit the bullet and now it looks like this,
gunna spend heaps less time washing my wifes nbp crv now

while i had the camera out i took some pics of a few of my favorite things
                  fluids ftw!

Nice stuff there man, I know that driveway would have cost an arm and a leg to do, one of my mate did the same thing!

They are supposed to be about 30% more efficient Norm! Not sure whether they are but it's all about principle haha

thanks guys, unless something major happens, this car will never be sold so i've always gone after the parts i want as apposed to the parts i need

yeah really, i bought a bulk lot a while back, cost less than $30 each, what i didn't take into account was that after doing less than 1000kms in the last 12 months, i now have a lifetime supply

yeah it cost a lot, i think its worth every cent though, i also got a layback cut into the gutter so its easier to get the car in and out,
but with the money it cost me between the road, and recently getting rid of my septic tank and connecting to town sewer, i could have quite easily finished the build on the dc5
