Ps i also managed to put two coats of nanolex on my wheels. Going to jamberoo this weekend so keen to see a weekend of driving in the car and then hit it with a pressure cleaner and see the results of the wheel sealant!
im sad too. But gotta use my money effectively now.
Kpro has been sold several months ago. Buyer wont pick it up until june next year. But im gonna start removing the exhaust system in a few weeks time so yeah.
Over the weekend I removed the KPRO as discussed a page back;
So much of a difference when I had the KPRO. the car feels quite slow with just I/H/E until the Vtec finally kicks in at 5800rpm.
Had to work on NYE and decided to drive in as it would be so much easier/faster getting home and the cost would have been the same too!
K-PRO and DC5R Primary O2 Sensor Out
Need to drive into the City and the cheapest place to park is Goulburn Street Wilson? Parking. $16 all day
Raced home and Tam was waiting for me
The Defi Advance was installed and taped into the DC5R/K-PRO'd ECU. Tam's an informal Electrician. Retapped the appropriate wires. Had a few issues with this in which we thought he tapped it incorrectly but couldnt have been the reason since he simply followed the wires from the original ECU. Realised its the more inferior Type S ECU. Not too much of a downside but when I turn off the car, the Defi gauges stay in the driving mode of showing me temps and data, and 30-45seconds later begins the closing sequence. As discussed, thought it was a re-tapping issue but its all good. Just teh Type S ECU tends to keep power on for longer. Not too sure why.

i like the type s centre console, im guessing it won't fit into the type R? cuz of the handbrake placement?
Picking up a facelift handbrake is easy! Plus with a few facelift wrecking on the web u wont have any dramas. The facelift centre console has more compartments than type r one. Get it nathan!
Only issue is slight contact with bolster only on passenger side if u slide it all the way forward. No biggie.
