Well haven't been around to much to update this thread.
The H.Drive coilovers have impressed me so far but will see how they go once i take the car back to Winton.. They're very very responsive but i'm just going to have the get the canisters move abit over.
Rather bumpy but that's to be expect with the spring rates of Front: 12 Rear: 16

Finally got the DC5 booked in for a tune at MSC Performance, it's getting dropped off Monday and i should get it back sometime later in the week once Steve is happy. Can't wait for it to be tuned and feel the improvement =)

No parts on the way apart from the usual maintenance that needs to be done.

And of course... how she still stands..

Soon bro, soon and next time it'll be with the DC5 not the Truck With Bobcat on-board lol.

Anyway latest news... I had my car tuned finally by Steve @ MSC Performance in Reservoir.
                Overall Result - 130kw
Very happy, the car is very, very responsive. I gotta take the car back to him so he can change a few slight things over as he wants my check engine light off (throwing O2 Sensor) BUT he doesn't wanna disable it on the KPro. He's very very fussy. He had the car for a week and told me he wouldn't hand the car back unless he was happy with the tune.

It ran 116kw before any tuning.. so a 14kw gain to me was a good result for bolt-ons.
GruppeM, X-Force Catback & Toda Headers.

                Graph for reference.

Was hoping to attend this months track day but may have to put it off another month.. Will see
Anyway this is the latest news.

                    Completely different honestly.
                    VTEC from 4500rpm.
Alot more torque & alot more fun to drive.. As i said before though, it's alot more responsive. Well worth the money spent!

Hey Grosso, what is your experience with the H.Drive R specs so far?

With your selected spring rates F:12 R:16 is the car still liveable enough on the street? And have you managed to trial them at Winton yet?

Very interested in these as a future upgrade once my car is no longer a daily commuter.

Just thinking whether I should go lower rates of F:10 R:14 if the rates are completely unbearable on the street.

Silly question but does the aluminum upper mount have camber adjustment?

                      Cheers Mate

                          Hey mate,

As Josh said above me.. that should answer your question.
I haven't as of yet taken the car to Winton but im going next month to trial it finally.
My spring rates are probably abit harsh for the street but eh i don't mind.. I enjoy the car being bumpy.. Through the bends is corners really well since i've had my suspension corrected.
Good investment, good coilovers and seem to be well made.
However, there is one problem with this coilovers but it is easily fixed.
You need to be a certain part from the states to correct the Tie Rod angle (Inverted ends are one way but i chose another)..
You will need the Steering Arm bracket which 0857 sells in the States to correct your angle's, if you don't purchase the bracket, you will suffer excessive bump steer.

Josh knows about this problem now and this has made my car so much better to drive.

Wow thanks for the detailed info mate! So this bracket is in addition to Todd's tie rods? Sounds like these H.drives might be a goer then once I've sorted a few other yet to be named items out

                              Correct.
You can run Inverted Tie Rod Ends, i had that option but Zac was happy to try the bracket first over the Inverted Ends since the Steering Arm Bracket is a part that never needs to be replaced and it worked a treat!
