So I just got a compression test. I'm pushing 185 on each cylinder so everything is good thank god.

i would say its because your vtec is lower now, probably around 4800rpm

Once your car is tuned it smooths out the VTEC, so no nice crossover anymore, only a little pop. One of the con's of tuning.

its funny u mentioned that, i havnt driven my car since last weekend, drove it to work today. car feeels slow and i miss the very noticable crossover.

you dont drive your car enough..may aswell sell it!

but yeah Peachy,that crossover disappears once car is tuned..mine sets in at 4300 rpm..its a rocket

HmMMMmmmMmmmm i'm aware of this, but i'm not quite sure if its the truth in my case.
I'll need to go for a late night drive to figure it out.

After the tune I'm also finding my car is more noisey, sounds really rough accelerating... I'll have to go for a proper late night test drive to suss it out.

I drive it a couple days a week but in that time i do 500 km anyways.. Hoghway and start stop. A bit of everything

Revving feels really rough though, I'm not sure if I've just imagined it or maybe it is. I need to be in another DC5R to test it out.
