Also, I notice that you have a CRSX header! Did you get it from CRSX or from ebay? How is it? Do you have a cat with it or test pipe?

... wait, are you the dude who PM'd me on ozhonda about getting the kiddracing header ?
They're not "weird" rather they are just not done properly, should not have much more then 10 minutes difference between left and right, 1 degree just isn't acceptable. I would have asked them to do it again after seeing those figures.

I got my CRSX (Kiddracing/Private Label) Header off ebay about a year and a half ago, I got a 200 cell hi flow cat welded between the test pipe flanges to stay legal. Does the job well, getting tuned next week so i will compare what i get compared to a typeS with Toda counterparts

Eerm i don't recall pming you on Ozhonda?

Nice setup man, I look forward to those dyno graphs. Where'd you get your cat from?

After I get all my parts and have them installed the next engine mods will be the CRSX/kiddracing/PL header. Is it worth getting an RBC intake manifold with my basic bolt ons?

I think I'll give the guys who did my alignment a call back and ask them about the figures. They were super helpful and friendly so hopefully they'll re-align without much fuss.

I got the cat from a friend i met on here. Its a great bang for buck header, no nonsense and has proven performance. RBC or an intake manifold/throttle body should not be installed as a basic bolton without getting a tune after the install, gains will be minimal and the car will idle funny. Stick with I/H/E for now...

I am sure the alignment place will redo it, it is definitely a mistake on their part and should not take long to fix. Get them to reduce the rear camber a bit as well and you should see improvement in your handling.

I've been looking up a few cat's online and think when I make the move I'll get a 100cel cat. Can get them on ebay for about $150-$200 which is pretty decent. I didn't realize the test pipe flanges came out?

I just did a bit of reading about the pros and cons of RBC, I probably should have done that prior to posting the question, but I suppose the question itself was a catalyst for me to research if ya know what I mean hahaha. I now realize it should be done only when I've got the capabilities to tune, thus I'll need to get a kpro for it.

Can't wait to call the guys tomorrow and see what they can sort out for me

Damnit, I can't wait to sell all my bikes so I have more money for my car hahaha anyone wanna buy a SE Lager or a Giant Anthem x3 or a Commencal super 4 hahaha

So I went back to suspension city in north Melbourne and they dropped the front end by another 15mm to get an even drop. The guys there are the absolute bomb, so helpful and didn't charge me for it, which was fantastic if them. Car is now at the boys at tyre power getting another alignment and I'm enjoying a pizza and a fag in the sun.

Got another package in the mail today hopefully will have pictures of the car with it's new stance and parts tonight

Hahaha, I love hearing those kinda words you haven't heard in a while, brings ya back to the days haha
Tyre power couldn't do my alignment with their equipment so I had to go to bob jane, $66 later and they fixed the alignment and now the car feels surprisingly better. Having the front end lower too I think may have helped, car steers into the corners a lot better and not as much rear end slide, still a lil, but it seems to correct itself pulling outta the corner.

Car is getting a clean right meow and I'll take some photos when she's done.

Tis not what you think. Although it looks like a bent plate, its shape has had several millions of dollars in R&D put into it, the shape encourages air flow into the engine bay, and it has added 148kw dyno tested.

No but you're right I really need to get some slimlines or something

Hahaha yeah, the front plate installation is indicative of my car wrenching abilities, I leave it like that so its easier to explain to people how shit I really am at working on cars. But for those who are more gullible, I will tell them the shape promotes airflow into the engine bay

I couldn't stop my fingers on ebay and I ordered a 24mm whiteline rear sway bar . $256 delivered, a lot cheaper than from the website.

Need to do something about that plate.. Agreed.

What nuts are those, aftermarket? I would stick to the oem nuts mate for two reasons

                                a) doesnt look at ricey

                                b) from a functional perspective, the oem wheels require a ball radius style nut to be 100% secure. Having said that, I've seen on many occasions, people running oem wheels with aftermarket nuts and have no dramas. I think mainly its using aftermarket wheels with OEM nuts that are the problem.

Great job on ordering the whiteline rear sway bar - a mod that no one will ever see, but a mod that will be great for your FF car. GOod to see your spending money on stuff that will actually improve the handling of your car and not jdm points
