After using apple exclusively for 12years now, on and off since 1994, today they put the final nail in the coffin for me to never ever use them again.
I need a new laptop, my current macbook pro is on its last legs, it has lasted over 5 years which is good but i cant find anything in the PC world that comes close to the whole package that Apple do. I want something very similar to the MBP Retina specs, both power and size/weight.
I cant find anything that comes close. It needs to have min specs of gen3 i7 2.6+ quad, 16gb ram, SSD and good GFX. I do a bit of video/audio/gfx editing for work so i need something fast. The screen needs to be a min of 1920x1080px and 15". All i can find the fits what i want is gaming laptops and they are huge and heavy. Ultrabooks have not enough ram or processor power. Thunderbolt and HDMI out would be nice
I will run Virtualbox so i can run OSX cos Windows sucks balls.
Any one know of something around what i an looking for?
