OoOoOoo.. I have a computer problem.
I'm using wireless & Vista and I have to do this thing.... where, if I want to get online, I have to go to 'Device Manager' and enable my wireless network card once the computer is on. Then, upon turning my computer off, I need to disabled the network card before I shut down.
If I leave the network card thingy enabled, and shut down my computer, it doesn't boot up again (or only does so in safe mode) until I log on safe mode, disabled it, and reboot.
Netgear 108 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter WG311T.
Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base-T Controller.
Mr. JonnieR actually tried to fix this for me, and this is how it works. (It's either this, or no internet.) We installed the latest drivers downloaded from the Netgear site but it didn't help much. I've mentioned it to a dozen of people, but I've reluctantly come to terms with considering of buying a new wireless network card altogether.Last edited by norma; 19-11-07, 02:30 PM.♥

E6600 @ 3.19GHz, cooled by a Scythe Ninja in a CM 830 Stacker case
sorry jing.. i just had to push it another 0.2ghz on what you OCed to lol
as with all things, heat kills components, so yes keep it as cool as you can. I was thinking of watercooling but got scared after a few people that I know ended up with leaking systems and fried components.
So i'm just running off air. i guess by the time it does fry, it will be time for an upgrade anywayT U 8 8 Y R - 0 6 5 4 8
