yep logetech steering wheel the one with 6 gears and clutch will be out in hk soon, end of this month i think.... works on ps3

then my following question for you is,

dunno if you know or not, does the new GTHD or the GT5 support the clutch and gearbox system?

well according to the control menu, it' doesnt have the G25 steering wheel, and no clutch button, so i dont think it supports it

here's another reason to buy an overseas unit instead of the PAL version being released in australia...

Sony will be cost-reducing the PAL version of the PlayStation 3 (PS3) by removing PS2 chips from the PS3 hardware. Instead backwards compatibility with PS2 games on the PAL PS3 will be handled through software emulation. And as we all know, software emulation is slower and less reliable than hardware.

im thinking they will update it eventually to the hardware one... my gf is planning on exchanging it for a new unit after a while since myer have a great return policy lol

if there are serious issues with speed and stuff when playing ps2 games, im sure you could return it anyway and get it repaired/replaced.
