PS3 From HK

hey guys
thinking about buying a ps3 form HK since my sister is over there. I rememeber some of you guys on here saying you guys also had one from HK. Just wondering if you guys have had any problems with it and if tis worth while and if i should wait for the one to come out in aus. Do i just need the power plug adapter to get it to work? any feedback would be great guys.

the voltage is same....just fine the muti plug adapter then you will be fine....you looking at 800-900 AUD with 2 cordless control and 2 blueray disk games....good buy....

is the PS3 from HK NTSC or PAL?
does what BlueRay region does it play?

ps3 games do not have region, so you can get games in aus and it will work...if you buy in hk it will be ntscj so ps2 games and dvd will have to be jap region

for the console it self it hk is $3780hkd divide by 6.1 for aud price

and it's plug and play, hk and aus are both 220V, no convertor needed

games are around $350 each in hk

and do not get gundam....it's the shittest game ever!!!!

Yep, Blu-ray have region coding Jeff.
Don't know if the PS3 has its scaling issues fixed either...

oh what i mean to say is what region code is the NTSC (HK/Japan/SE Asia) version of Blueray...

i just found out, it's Region A

so im assuming movies in australia wont work on the Hk ps3 since its different regions? do u guys think its worth getting or should i just wait for it to come out in aust?

yep logetech steering wheel the one with 6 gears and clutch will be out in hk soon, end of this month i think.... works on ps3
