Did my back in Doin heavy squats and heavy dead lifts on consecutive days. Too much vtec make brain go silly. Not a single common sense was had this week
This was me a couple of weeks back. Its easy to loose form when your distracted or fatigued.
How much were you lifting may I ask?
Isaac
I've just joined a gym & been going almost everyday. Finding it real hard to work out which shows how unfit I am but then again, "no pain no gain", right?!
Does anyone here go to Plus Fitness in Hoxton Park?

What you finding hard. Make sure you don't loss technique to do heavy weight. better to do light and correctly then heavy and wrong.

Mainly doing weights but then again I'm starting light weight & slowly working my way up.
I'm working on cardio as well so I spent about 10 minutes on the tread mill then go onto weights.. I go for about an hour to an hour & half everyday including weekends. Gets my mind off things too!
Dont expect to increase weight very fast. Choose which training method you want to follow. Say 5x5 or 8x3 ect. Only increase the weight when you can complete all the sets at 2 reps more.
Myself ill train the same muscle group heavy 5x5 then very light 3x12. I do this for all the main excises for each muscle group.
I have a specific weight programme I follow that I can post later if any one wants to see. It's not one muscle per day. I also lift very slow and ensure correct form over higher weight.
I have not had a fight for a very very long time but yeah I do proper boxing training. Bag, pads, spar and such. Great cardio, fitness and strength.
I kind of set some goals with my training so first goal is fitness and some weight loss and strength. I cater my weights and boxing training as per my goals.
So first up is light weight, high reps, slow lifting but very low rest time with big focus on core. Boxing will be boxing. Every aspect of it works cardio and strength.
