Chris i was in C for the last CC track day and i was pulling low 1.14's - just depends on numbers,

In all honesty, if you feel comfortable going in a high group, do it... because it really does better your driving.

It's usually worse, cos all the dirt and shit runs down to turn 1 and 2, and then people carry it up to turn 3-4. 5-6 gets filled with mud too, and so does the dog leg.
