I have been given the privilege to organise the ClubITR Mid-year Go Kart Challenge. The event will be hosted in sometime July, the event will be more than likely on a weekend day unless there is enough demand for a weekday event. The track has not yet been determined as there are several variables. We want all our members to have a unique go-kart experience, however that is only possible with your help.
Once we have the venue booked, it will be a first come first served basis. Payment in full will be required and a refund will only be provided if you can find a replacement or if we have sufficient numbers and funds to cover our costs. Numbers will need to be confirmed by end of May. This should be enough time for all of you to arrange time off and organise your finances.

We will be hosting this event at Eastern Creek Karts using their Reduced Mini GP format. This will include 2 practice heats and final rolling grid start race.
There are 3 track configurations, however EC hold the right on which track will be used. The shorter track, 703m, will yield you around 12 laps in the practice and 20 in the final race. Obviously less for the longer tracks. It's roughly 20 minutes per heat and 30 minutes for the final race. EC is a fairly big, wide and fast paced track so it will make overtaking easy.
Eastern Creek Go Karts
Location: 50 Peter Brock Drive Eastern Creek NSW 2766
It has been unofficially booked for the 14th July for a 10:00am arrival for a 10:30am start. Please be on time. The event will take approximately 2 hours.
You'll be required to have closed feet shoes, so no thongs, crocs, etc. You will be supplied with helmet, racing suit (overalls) and a hairnet. If you have your own, feel free to bring them!
IF there are light showers on the day the race will still go ahead. However, if it is heavily raining the event will be postponed.
Once the event has been officially booked (I am waiting on forms) I will send out a PM with details to confirm your booking. The deposit will be $50 and only once your deposit has been paid your spot has been confirmed. It is a total of $160 so on the day you'll only need to pay $110. Deposit is non-refundable and will only be refunded if you can find a replacement.
I will need to confirm if this price includes our licenses, I'm assuming it would as it's only $5 for a license.
