DC2R question - clunk as clutch released

    Hi All,

I have had my 2000ym DC2R for a month now, And am very happy with most aspects of the car, however..

If I park my car overnight (which is on a small slope) and go to reverse out of a morning, there is a slight clunk as I let the clutch out, the car dives well but seeing as I have never owned a car with LSD, want to make sure this seems normal.

    Any thoughts or experiences welcome

    Chris

          Where is the clunk from?

If it sounds like it's in front of you, it's probably the rear engine mount.

If it's behind you and it feels like the brakes are on, then it clunks as they let go, it's what tinkerbell said - the pads are corroded to the disc temporarily (mine does this if I wash it then put it away with wet brakes)

slightly reated, does anyone experience grinding when putting it into reverse even clutch is fully in and car is not rolling?

hitting vtec is like masturbating, sometimes you just do it because you can

OK, gearbox/engine mount is broken, have to get a new one so at least I know, but now I also have a small sound when the car is cold that sounds like a rear shock or brake squeaking sloooowly like a ooooohhh sound
