I had this problem. It was the O2 sensor. Used to idle rough and power wasn't smooth for the first 20 secs or so after start up. Was okay when it warmed up.
thanks for that mate, no matter how hard i tried to turn the screw, it wouldnt drop below 700rpm... even after doing that its still idling at up to 2500 rpm until the engine warms up..
Check TPS output & correct as required.
Then short the jumper & set your ignition timing.
After that, repeat set idle procedure.
If idle is still high, look for the leak...
BTW, don't rely on the factory tacho in the dash... They're usually wrong by more than a few 100 rpm

sounds like a vacuum leak to me...track someone down with a smoke tester... those machines find the smallest leaks
