        it should even *feel* nicer...

everytime i used to ("used to" because i run nitrogen now) check my pressures (and add more air) i used to drive out of the servo and *feel* it was faster...

it's an auto so i don't think i'll *feel* anything, or even if I do, it'll be after a long lag of gear shifting..... think i need some of that nitrogen

i've had nitorgen in my tyres before and i think it was $4 per tyre or something around that.
or was it $14 per tyre, can't remember.

The only reason to use Nitrogen is safety...
That is to have a non flamable compressed gas...
AKA tyres on a Boeing 747. (40,000ft altitude, peoples lives are at stake etc)
Stories about it not changing pressure at temp etc compared to air is just plain B/S.

Fact - Nitrogen is not exempt from Boyles law.
Now this remains true, whether you chose to believe it of not

I do think there is a place for it in aviation & racing,
But only with multi piece rims.
(Possible/probable use of petrolum jelly on the main o-ring)

                  End rant

                    quoted for posterity!

i run nitrogen because they use it in V8 supercars...

it is funny though, i swear they run 1 piece rims?

However Nitrogen is a much closer approximation to an ideal gas than air. Perhaps this is why race teams use it, as it will give more predictable behaviour with changes in temperature .
