Leon, did you flush the whole system? 2 bottles seems a bit light on. I used 4 when doing mine and flushed all lines thoroughly.

                    I wouldn't know about DC2 stock 16"
                    but I run my DC5R Brembo + S2000 300mm rotors under 16*8 ET38 with plenty of clearance

sam, would that be because you use js racing calipers and they hold more brake fluid?

Well i used 2 bottles to clean out the calipers + hoses, another bottle to fill it up. So that's 3 bottles all up i guess

yea... i was told today by the mechanic that around 1-1.5 litres so 3 bottles to be safe. anyways thanks tiu.

gonna try out some billion dot 4 fluids. wet boiling points at 200 and was half the price of motul rbf600. Hopefully it wont fail me =/

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but where would I be able to purchase a JDM DC5R 05-06 prop valve from?
Obviously if anyone has an 05-06 JDM DC5R half cut that would be great :P

maybe first confirm the part number. and search for it all over the world?

                            Japan/ America/ UK.

I have a part number from researching (46210-S5A-812), and apparently it's the same as the USDM 03-07 accord and USDM 03-05 civic si. I just don't trust what the people on the interwebz say.

Next up, 05-06 JDM brake booster part number!

Ok, so I have a new plan to get hard facts about which brake components are different between the facelift 04-06 JDM DC5R the pre-facelift 01-03 AUDM DC5R.
                                I have a Facelift 05-06 JDM DC5R VIN number (DC5-2301006).
With this, I have asked my local Honda spare parts centre to get the part numbers for the JDM DC5R 05-06 Brake master cylinder, brake booster and proportioning valve from Honda Japan.
I will compare this to the part numbers from my 03 AUDM DC5R.

I will post the results when I have them
