Hey leon...I reckon exedy is more daily friendly....I am using ORC atm.....its great on track....but its such a pain if you drive it daily tho.....I mis count how many time I store when I pick my car up..... never try toda tho......
not planning to go Toda at all. Because they are quite over budget for me to afford since alot of you guys said there are noise coming from the ORC and it is a pain to drive it for daily so i will get the Exedy ones.
The Stage 1 clutch kit doesn't come with the flywheel so i need to get it seperate. STILL soo expensive, planning to get it within the next 2 month.

Acturally its quiet special sound....lol.....I like it myself.....but other ppl may think your car have problem when they hear it ......the quiet one is just a bit quieter......but I never seat in one with the quiet one so I can't compare
What the difference between the noisey ORC clutch and the quiet one? Are there any benefits for the noise?
They are noisy because they have an extra "floating" plate. When the clutch is disengaged, it is this plate you can hear rattleing/floating about. The silent version has small springs which pushes this plate away (to stop it rattleing). But I can tell you the silent version also rattles.
Found a photo of my old Ogura "Silent" clutch. Here you can see the little springs that are only on the silent version. When disengaged, pushes away the floating plate limiting the plate from rattleing.
Do you guys know what is the weight of the stock dc5R flywheel? after looking around recently, i have only found toda and cusco that makes flywheel for the dc5R.
Both brands' flywheel are 3.8kg, but has anyone actually experience one of them?
