Hydro locking is a very rare thing.
I had a injen style intake from teh TB down into the bumper with pod sitting down there.
Went to a lot of cruises with massive puddles ( inc the one with CRSX to singleton) and it didnt have any probs.
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."

as far as dc5 and mugen vs injen, well i would rather a mugen due to one factor of the filter getting dirty and having to clean it... too much pain for the injen? but in the other intake thread, sounds like gruppem is the way to go... but then thats just from reading ppl's comments... i dont have a dc5 to back up my opinion
